Now, it’s essentially synonymous with them as a group, referring to the collective’s staunchly independent work ethic and philosophy of self-actualization. Their debut album release on August 15 is no coincidence either; this album does contend with nationhood and individuality, while leaving plenty of room for the tongue-in-cheek absurdity that is now expected from a group like this. A 100% independent effort, this album is a culmination of the group’s continuous output of genre-defying music and visual media since 2020.
